Tea garden

Eating a piece of cake there is always a reason to come up with.

The sunny terrace of the tea garden is under the lee of the dike. There are six Mulberry trees which provide shelter: you’ll find it not very difficult to imagine that you’re in France! While having a drink on the terrace you can play a game of jeu-de-boules or a game of krulbol for free. It’s even possible to play some Flemish games in the barn (provided nobody rented it for the day).

Every day, Suzanne bakes her home made pies with fruit from our own orchard. Depending on the season, you are spoilt for choice!

We serve 22 different kinds of tea from the renowned tea house of Javana in Brugge.

For our coffee made with an espresso machine we make use of biological coffee beans from RedBeans. We use fresh, full biological milk for our Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato. It’s also possible to drink biological percolator coffee from Simon Levelt.

We also serve different kinds of juices from our parts of the world, some appetizing beverages and biological ice creams in different sizes.

We serve some small lunches. It’s always possible to enjoy a bowl of home made soup with ingredients fresh from our garden with some bread and butter.
